Pop-Rock

Freddie Dickson, who labels his own music as ‘doom pop’, has a raw, vulnerable tone to his voice and songs. In Shut Us Down, for example, he whispers “I know it all depends/if you still feel the same”, with as much heartache as he demonstrates uncertainty. Similarly in Red Eyes, Got A Little Soul and The End, it is the subtlety to Freddie’s vocal delivery that makes it so effective. It is beautiful, it draws you in, and you feel vulnerable with it.
